Keiren Brandt-Sawdy was the SMC’s MD for three years and this is the only CD of his work – something the choristers were very pleased to be involved in. This CD was recorded over two days at St John’s University Chapel in the University of Sydney. Contrasting titles abound: “Pure Imagination” from the film ‘Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory’; the spiritual “What Shall We do with a Drunken Sailor”, and the English Traditional “The Drummer and the Cook”, and others.
