Emerging from the verdant undergrowth of Sydney Australia, Sounds Like Winter continue the antipodean tradition of putting a convict’s twist on traditional shapes. From loping bass to scything guitars, they are ferried atop a dervish of tribal drums as they address the inherent absurdity of modern life with a wry smile, an arched brow, and sometimes a call-to-arms.
